Submission of biographic information is voluntary. We encourage completion and submission in order to maintain in NCVA files useful data about our members. The data will be used, in part, to augment articles in the CRYPTOLOG, to allow identification of members who may have been involved in unique situations considered appropriate for CRYPTOLOG publication, and, in the event of death, to provide the basis for an accurate obituary.
With your permission, the data would be shared with Naval Security Group Headquarters for historical purposes. It will NEVER be divulged to an outside researcher, media reporter, or historian without your SPECIFIC APPROVAL.
The NCVA BIOGRAPHY SHEET is available in two formats.
If you possess software that can edit a Word-97 document, you should download that version and type in your information. If you don't own software that can edit a Word-97 document, you should download the Adobe Acrobat format, fill it in and print it out. Note: You must print the PDF document if you use the PDF reader to edit it. It will not save your edited comments. Make sure you print two copies. One for your personal records and one for the NCVA Biorgrapher.
Individuals who use the Word-97 format may submit their Biography Sheet electronically as an Email attachment to the NCVA Biographer (Dean Kahl) . In either case hard copies may be mailed to the Dean at the address below.
