ISTANBUL - TUSLOG DETACHMENT 12

Each fall from 1989 thru 1993, reunions were held by alumni of TUSLOG Det. 12, Istanbul. The reunions were open to all who served at Det. 12 at any time between its opening in 1952 and its closing in 1965. Not since 1993 have any such regularly planned Det. 12 reunions been held; however, the Det.12 address list is still maintained by Michael Golio,Jr.(NCVA). Ever since 1989, NCVA members have constituted 40-50% of the list. Annual NCVA reunions are attended regularly by some 30-50 Det. 12 alumni and their spouses and guests. While there, many of them gather and socialize among themselves without any planned Det. 12 itinerary. No fees; no dues, and no organization.
