NRT-0022 Windows MOBILE Flaws:

Two Windows MOBILE flaws have been discovered by a security firm in Tokyo. If exploited, the flaws could crash phones and other devices running Windows MOBILE. The vulnerabilities apparently lie in Windows Mobile Internet Explorer and Windows Mobile Pictures and Video. Viewing a rigged web page or malicious JPEG image file on a Windows Mobile device will cause it to fail. There has been an observable uptick in threats against these "smart" phones, particularly those which run Windows Mobile or Symbian operating systems. Microsoft has been made aware of the threats and is investigating them. The NUMBER of threats to phones today is relatively low, and most experts believe that the situation will change over time as smart phones begin using common operating systems which make them attractive targets for the exploiters.
