NRT-0023 "TomTom" Navigation Devices:

Have you recently bought one of those "TomTom" navigation devices? Well, if you have, you NEED to read this. It seems that TomTom has confirmed that some (they don't say how many) of the latest GO-910 devices were shipped with a VIRUS pre-loaded in their software. The affected systems are running version 6.51 of the TomTom software. The units were apparently produced between September and November of 2006 and were infected with TWO Trojan Horse variants that try to copy themselves onto your PC when you first connect and try to initialize the software and navigation device. TomTom's only recommendation at this point is for users to update their anti-virus software and scan their systems to detect and remove the infections.
