NRT-0121 Hackers Using War Headlines to Send Trojans:

Hackers are using social engineering to lure people into opening the emails with malicious attachments by using subject lines about war breaking out or the United States bombing Iran. Subject lines include: "USA Just Have Started World War III"; Strike: The USA kills more then 20000 Iranian citizens"; "Israel Just Have Started World War III"; and "USA Strike: Iran War just have started." The actual email body is blank, but the attachments have names like movie.exe, video.exe, clickhere.exe, and readmore.exe. The trojan itself is nothing new, Trojan.Packed.13 is simply a variant of Trojan.Peacomm and W32-dot-Mixor.

Take due notice of the poor grammar used in the lures...use that as a preliminary screen tool when you see things of this nature. The worse the grammatical error, the more likely it involves malware. - Bill
