NRT-0239 Trojan Authors Possibly Defeat Hotmail and Yahoo "captcha" system:

A Trojan dubbed Trojan.Spammer.HotLan.A is accessing automatically generated accounts from Hotmail and Yahoo to send spam email. Both email services use "captcha", a reverse Turing test that presents the user with a series of distorted letters that are easily readable by human eyes, but difficult for computers to decipher. Defeating the captcha system allows spammers to create fresh accounts which are not on spam blacklists. The Trojan has created 15,000 accounts as of 05JUL.
