NRT-0615 Taliban uses Skype to avoid detection:
Taliban fighters in Afghanistan are using the latest
'Internet phones' to evade detection, according to an online press
report. Insurgents reportedly have adopted Skype, the popular consumer software
that allows free calls to be made over the Web, to communicate with cells strung
out across the country. Unlike traditional mobile calls, which can be monitored
by intelligence collectors according to the report, Skype calls are heavily
encrypted.
