"Jake" Otten (N7WO) and "Grady" Lewis (N7FCO) of the Northwest Group, are presenting Portland, Oregon, for NCVA in 2009. The team has selected the Red Lion On The River to be the reunion hotel. The river is the Columbia, at Portland, the border between Oregon and Washington state. The reunion is scheduled for September 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2009. Activities include a trip to a live volcano, a visit to the Spruce Goose, a drive east in the breathtaking Columbia Gorge and even more! If you did CT duty on USS BLUEBACK, you can visit her as well, just 13 minutes from the hotel. Hotel rates start at $101, with higher rates for special view rooms.
