The U.S. Naval Cryptologic Veterans
Association (NCVA) holds an annual reunion in the spring,
usually around the end of May. These gatherings are normally
entirely social in nature and terminate on a Saturday evening
with a dinner/dance.
There is a short business (general) meeting
on Saturday morning and usually about 90% of the NCVA members
at the reunion attend. At this meeting, short reports are
given summarizing the past Association year; new officers are
elected; and, the site of a future reunion is voted upon.
The site selection committee has encouraged
that reunions rotate across the United States by having one
in the East, one in the central part of the country, and the
next in West. Since voting on the reunion site takes place
for the reunion three years hence, sites that will be
considered will be from that same geographical area. That is,
while at a West Coast reunion, you will be voting for the
next site on the West Coast for three years later.
