Activity Statistics

Visits per month shows activity increases each year with the approaching reunion. In calendar year 2004 91,649 visits were detected. August 2005 was our most active month setting a record with 14,217 visits and a year-to-year same month visits increase of 51.1%. September, the Reunion and Hurricane Month saw a definate shift in daily use. The lowest 7-day average 266.2 visits per day (durring the Reunion) and the highest 7-day average 504.5 visits per day (post Reunion). The 90-Day Detailed Daily visits plot clearly shows activity centered on postings of the attendee listing and other reunion related information with peaks directly related to sending out notification of modifications to the web site via the NCVA Reflector.

Calendar year 2005 site visits surpassed the 2004 total of 91,649 on 28 August at approximately 1330 EDT. As of 30 September at 2359 EDT the Calendar Year 2005 visit total was 104,907. With three months to go 2005 will truly be a record setting year for the organizations web site.

Password Protected Directories were established in May of 2003. They are used to store the NCVA Internet Directory (NID) open to anyone listed in the NID, and to store several files that are limited in distribution with access granted only to members of the NCVA. PPD Account Activity shows new account activations peaked shortly after the 2003 reunion. As of 23:59 EST on 30 September 2005 only 75.2% of 674 activated accounts have been used. During September 2005, four new accounts were activated, and three accounts used for the first time since their activation.
