Password Protected Directories were established in May of 2003. They are used to store the NCVA Internet Directory (NID), open to anyone listed in the NID, and to store files that were created for members of the NCVA. The NCVA started electronic distribution of its quarterly publication, the CRYPTOLOG, in July of 2008. The "electronic" CRYPGOLOG has inspired more of our members to request NCVA PPD Accounts and to use their accounts. PPD Account Activity shows the recent increase in use and new account activations. A new record for account use was set in January 2009 when 170 accounts were used breaking the July 2003 record of 131 accounts used durring a single month.
